This week, our residents came together for a heartwarming and action-packed event β the Woodlands Olympics! π From the opening ceremony to the final cheer, our teams showed incredible spirit, kindness, and a true sense of fun throughout the games. π₯°
After the arrival of the Olympic Flame and a few words of encouragement, the Games began in earnest with the Red Indians (Red π΄), Achilles (Blue π΅) and Brussel Sprouts (Green π’) competing against each other in a variety of events. From javelin, shotput, rifle shooting, and long-jump to soccer and artistic gymnastics, our athletes did their teams proud. π€Έπ»ββοΈβ½

What made this event truly special wasn’t just the activities themselves, but the way our Woodlands family supported and encouraged each other every step of the way. Whether it was a guiding hand or cheers echoing from the sidelines, kindness was at the heart of every moment.ππ
The final medals tally showed the Brussel Sprouts π’ on top with 3 Gold, 4 Silver and a Bronze – a total of 8 medals all up. π₯π₯π₯ Archilles π΅ finished with 6 medals and the Red Indians π΄ won a respectable 5 medals. Congratulations to all of our amazing athletes for their inspiring performances.
Our goal was to create an atmosphere where everyone could participate and we couldn’t be prouder of the result. You’ve all proven that, here at Woodlands, it’s not about winning – the laughter, comaraderie, and memories will stay with us long after the final medals were awarded. π₯π
A big thank you to our special four-legged friends and their handlers from Canine Friends Pet Therapy & Feilding Dog Training Club for making our Closing Ceremony so magical, and to our staff and volunteers for lending a hand!πβπ¦Ίπ
