The Manawatū Vintage Car Club generously shared their treasured vintage cars today providing our residents with a delightful trip down memory lane.
With a dozen beautifully preserved vehicles on display, the afternoon was filled with admiration and reminiscing. The sight, sound, and feel of these classic cars evoked fond memories for many of our residents, and for some, the experience was made even more special by a spin around the block in true vintage style.
Robin enjoyed a special moment when he was presented with his 25-year membership medal—a well-deserved recognition of his dedication to the club. And Warwick shared an impromptu chat about his unforgettable experience on a sponsored world trip in the 1960s, promoting the then-new Austin Sprite.
